James E. (Jim) Crismon
(D)
Running for Utah House District 57 –
Utah County
“Partisan politics MUST end. Utah needs a two-party system and a return to
the middle of the political spectrum.”

Jim was well supported at the
Democratic Party Caucus on 23-March-2010, and is very enthusiastic about
bringing a more moderate voice to the forefront - supporting not only
individual rights, but also personal responsibility.
He brings 35 years of
experience as an employee in state government, and has experience in resolving
difficult and sensitive issues. He
believes that government can’t be everything to everyone, and that we need to
find the common middle ground that IS there but is too often obscured by
special interests and “good old boy” politics.
Jim has lived in Pleasant
Grove for 30 years, and in Utah since 1958. He is deeply rooted in this community, and in
our common values. All of his children
live along the Wasatch Front, and they have inherited his love for this place.
“I will work with Democrats,
Republicans, and Independents to achieve a balance in politics and civility in
our law making process. I will be THE
voice of the silent majority in my district, not the voice of the vocal
minority. That’s where the balance is.”
“Keep in mind that I’ve been
married for 40 years to a registered Republican that taught at a very
conservative private school – and we are still happily married. We know something about finding the balance!”
Jim is not a man of many
words and blustery speeches. There is
work that needs to be done. He will get
it done with your help. All he needs is
your vote, and maybe a word from you to your friends and family about him. He will take care of the rest.
